Thank you so much to NetGalley, Victory Editing Netgalley Co-Op, and the author, Elise Eliot, for providing me with an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

Game On by Elsie Eliot was an interesting read, though it ultimately felt like a three-star experience for me. The story had some intriguing elements, but, there were aspects that left me feeling somewhat detached from the characters and plot.

The book follows Millie Barlowe, a thirty-something single mom of two, who finds herself at a crossroads after losing her job again. Tired of the real estate industry, she contemplates a new career path, but an unexpected opportunity comes her way, offering her more financial stability than she's ever had. With a new job and a budding romance with an attractive realtor, things seem to be looking up.

However, as Millie navigates this new phase in her life, she faces challenges that test her resilience and ethics. She finds herself tangled in a web of greed and manipulation, leading her to question the integrity of those around her. Throughout the story, Millie's best friend Paige plays a significant role in guiding her decisions. It often felt like Millie couldn't make choices without Paige's input, which was frustrating. I would've loved to see Millie grow more independent and develop her own perspectives, especially during critical moments.

The narrative also had some inconsistencies, particularly in portraying Millie's financial situation. Despite being described as struggling at the start of her book, her lifestyle sometimes seemed relatively luxurious, including the way Millie judges some less fortunate real states which felt contradictory since she didn't come from a rich family herself. Additionally, the initial attraction between Millie and her love interest, Luca, felt a bit shallow, making it difficult to fully engage with their relationship.

Released on Mar 26, 2024, The Other Side of Disappearing follows the story of a Hairstylist Jess, who finds herself dealing with the effects of the disappearance of her mother, leaving her years ago with a notorious con artist.

Left behind to shoulder the responsibility of raising her half-sister Teagan, Jess sacrificed her aspirations to shield Teagan from the anguish of abandonment. Now on the verge of adulthood, Teagan embarks on a quest fueled by a newfound lead suggesting their mother may still be reachable. With unwavering determination, Teagan enlists the help of unlikely allies: Salem Durant, a captivating true-crime podcaster, and her astute assistant Adam.

When Teagan decides to go on a journey by herself, Jess finds herself obligated to join in hopes of protecting Teagan from harsh truths. As they pursue a trail of compelling clues, the journey to locate their mother becomes an odyssey of self-discovery, where the search for one lost soul may ultimately lead to the illumination of their own identity.

On a personal and emotional level, I see the longing for the loss and the grief of a missing parent portrayed very well. The nonending ifs and questions about why her mother left then the feeling of betrayal and resentment are so valid. Jess left her feelings aside, focusing only on raising Teagan well and not missing her mother.

We can see the evolution of relationships between the sisters, the dynamic between Adam and Jess, and the personal growth of all the characters.

We have a Dual POV, alternating between Jess and Adam, with a writing style that is clear and concise. Despite the presence of descriptive elements for both characters and the story, they serve a vital purpose, enriching and enhancing the overall narrative.

I found this read immensely enjoyable, feeling that the book was expertly crafted, evoking a range of emotions throughout.

I highly recommend this book!

I was torn between 3.5 and 5 stars, but ultimately, I think a solid 4-star rating is the best fit.

Thank you to Netgalley the publishers Kensington Books | Kensington and Kate Clayborn for allowing me to review this audiobook. Which, I will be giving my honest and sincere review.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author Quinton Li for the ark. I will be giving my honest review.

The world is described slowly and we see ourselves in a school environment a dark academia aesthetics. With queer autism representation and person of color representation, the description of the world and the characters was my absolute favourite, and we find a hierarchy spread out bye the floor your sleeping In the higher the better, the most important.
We have conflicts, murder, and thriller.

The Wallflower is full of trigger warnings

Adult speech, Adult behavior, Family dysfunction, cancer, Non Consenting acts, Rape, Degrading speech, Abuse, Family Violence, Betrayal.

The book is heavy with abuse and non-consensual behaviors, or maybe CNC. I felt rage at times.

In every chapter, you will see some kind of triggering behaviors that I mentioned above. So please proceed with caution.

A Hint "Drew" the main male character is one of the first characters I hate, that might be on purpose since I feel that the author left us on a cliffhanger but I kind of saw the plot twist coming, it least was very obvious to me.

I want to thank NetGalley, Publishers Dreamscape Media, and the author J.L. Beck for providing this audio-ARC. Which, I will be giving my honest and sincere review.

This is the most adorable thing ever. And the cover OMG I need this book fiscally.

The book starts with Naomi in school writing a pen pal, the letter has an assignment to someone, but she doesn't know who, to her surprise, a boy starts writing back Luca, but he's mean. So they start a pen pal journey. but suddenly the letters stopped, Naomi never thought she would care that Luca disappeared but his last letter came without an address and he challenged her to find him.

This is the cutest thing I have to repeat myself. It's descriptive, and a perfect Summer book, I don't know why but something about exchanging letters reminds me of summer break.

The last chapters were so nice I SOOOO recommend it to everyone, reading this review.

I want to thank NetGalley, Publishers HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter, and the author Donna Marchetti for providing this e-ARC. Which, I will be giving my honest and sincere review.

We follow two princesses, connected by the dark crimes of one of their Fathers, the King of Marama.

Princess Evhen of Vodaeard saw her parents die before her and she now only thinks of revenge.

Princess Evhen kidnaps Princess Kalei to punish the king for his greedy actions. but Kalei is so clueless about the King's affairs outside of their lands, trapped in a boat on the way to Vodaeard, she starts to see the cruel truth, leaving her to process the lies she was fed all her life, and fear of a truth related to her gift, that not even she will be immune to her father cruelty.

The story was unique we have a zombie concept with Kalei having moon powers to turn the dead into living again, but they don't come out how they were. I felt it, to be quite repetitive being a duo POV, The narrator did a good job. We see an enemy to lovers (Sapphic), and you can understand the attraction and the conflict from the beginning.

I want to, thank NetGalley, the publisher "Dreamscape Media" and the author Kay Adams for providing this audiobook-ARC. I will be giving my honest and sincere review.

4,5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love 😍 Sophie Lark's writing and descriptive moments, It is the fourth book of the Brutal Birthright series, a double POV between Dante Gallo from the Gallo Family a known and dangerous mafia Family, and Simone the daughter of an Ambassador, in my eyes, he's worse than any Mafia "Criminoso", "Malfaiteur".
Simone's music taste was amazing she has an Apocalypse playlist "Zombie - Cranberries" :) we see a few songs mentioned in the book.

The relationship starts right from the beginning savage and carnal.

Dante and Simone feel like the most illegal relationship, with impulsive behavior. They meet in the most questionable situation, but their relationship starts as soon as it ends with the demands of Simone's father.
9 years later, Simone sees Dante again, but she has a secret. And she's afraid to tell it.^

The book starts before the Brutal Prince timeline and extends until Savage Lover Through Dante's point of view we can recognize some events, from the past books.

Dante & Simone:
Fan art why not?

I want to thank NetGalley, Publishers SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books, and the author Sophie Lark for providing this ARC. Witch, I will be giving my honest and sincere review.

They thought she was crazy but she knew something was lurking out in the shadows, and wants to get her.
Imogen a quiet and lonely librarian, was attacked in a Nightclub, with fangs that never left her mind and, haunted her life ever since. Now are again the visions, or are they real?

Enemies to lovers, Fated Mates, Misunderstandings, Forced Proximity, Grumpy/Sunshine, Morally grey, Fey World, the premise with creatures that won't be anything kind.^
We have a dual POP, and, it's packed with actions, from hate to urges they both don't understand, the need for protection.

The characters and world are intriguing, easy to read, and understand the politics. Aldow I would love more character description.
Is Tarion a "Tamelin" of this story?
I'd like to continue reading the series to see where it goes next.

I would like to thank the Authors, Lorelei Johnson & Hailey Jade, NetGalley, and the Publishers for providing this e-ARC. Witch, I will be giving my honest and sincere review.

Please make sure you're aware of the trigger warnings this book contains, Some of the triggers include:

Animal cruelty, assault, murder, cannibalism, blood, gore, child sa, childbirth, child death, BDSM, drug use, forced abortion, human skin wearing, incest, mental health issues, pedophilia, reanimated corpse, sa, self-harm.
Lady Ramillia Winmoore is sent to an asylum, convicted of her parent's murder, where her nightmares became with mistreatments and invasive treatments. She only remembers parts of her childhood.
We see mental health representations not only in our FMC but in other patients and society in general.
Ramillia is saved by Sir Julian, whose estates she will soon be married to him.

The book's narrative is mostly filled with our FMC, thoughts, since she was put away from society for most of her living life she's adjusting to all she can absorb. The book evolved at a slow pace.
Heavily graphic and descriptive, full of violence and shocking events for a child to grow up to. Allow for a Gothic Horror I imagined it as the darkness sombre and gruesome of Frankenstein in a Tim Burton atmosphere.

I recommend this book to Gothic Horror lovers, full of twists.

I want to thank NetGalley, Publishers BHC Press, and the author Natalie Gibson for providing this e-ARC. Witch, I will be giving my honest and sincere review.

She’s a 10 but she has more mates than a hand can count…

Kiarra is isolated from the world, a freedom feels like a distant memory 6 years she’s been under the punishments of the King, I felt for the main character right away. It’s impossible not to after all the pain she’s going through. She’s strong and doesn’t show weakness to do anything that threatens her. The world, it’s, fairly similar to ours but they live under a King's rule with all kinds of mystic species Shifters, Witches, Demons & Dumans.

Kiarra finds herself in a peculiar situation and it’s none other than the 5 friends she grew up with. They are mad at her but above all, she is their mate.

We have 5 completely different personalities and its going to make you giggle, kick, and gasp.

There were quotes that I loved.

“…Don’t lie to me or yourself. I felt it. I felt you. That kiss was…”

Everything. It was everything and more. No words can describe the feeling of being surrounded by him. I feel safe and warm. I feel cherished and cared for and, for just a moment, slightly less broken.”

“You taste like sunshine and destruction, wrapped into one. It’s fucking delicious.”

Honestly, I’m getting the physical choppy as soon as possible I need to mark down my favorite scenes and quotes. The cover is so beautiful.

I’m not saying much more. But if you like The Bonds That Tie Series by J.Bree you will eat this up in no time. I was sad that it was over.

The Narrators of this audiobook were absolutely 💯 amazing I loved them, Scarlett Everdeen; Chase T. Walker.
