Princess Evhen of Vodaeard saw her parents die before her and she now only thinks of revenge.

Princess Evhen kidnaps Princess Kalei to punish the king for his greedy actions. but Kalei is so clueless about the King's affairs outside of their lands, trapped in a boat on the way to Vodaeard, she starts to see the cruel truth, leaving her to process the lies she was fed all her life, and fear of a truth related to her gift, that not even she will be immune to her father cruelty.

The story was unique we have a zombie concept with Kalei having moon powers to turn the dead into living again, but they don't come out how they were. I felt it, to be quite repetitive being a duo POV, The narrator did a good job. We see an enemy to lovers (Sapphic), and you can understand the attraction and the conflict from the beginning.

I love 😍 Sophie Lark's writing and descriptive moments, It is the fourth book of the Brutal Birthright series, a double POV between Dante Gallo from the Gallo Family a known and dangerous mafia Family, and Simone the daughter of an Ambassador, in my eyes, he's worse than any Mafia "Criminoso", "Malfaiteur".
Simone's music taste was amazing she has an Apocalypse playlist "Zombie - Cranberries" :) we see a few songs mentioned in the book.

The relationship starts right from the beginning savage and carnal.

Dante and Simone feel like the most illegal relationship, with impulsive behavior. They meet in the most questionable situation, but their relationship starts as soon as it ends with the demands of Simone's father.
9 years later, Simone sees Dante again, but she has a secret. And she's afraid to tell it.^

The book starts before the Brutal Prince timeline and extends until Savage Lover Through Dante's point of view we can recognize some events, from the past books.

Ellie is naive and believes the world how is shown to her. She lives in a futuristic world, where no one works and death can be recycled into a Poppet form, they act like robots thanks to a chip, with a program designed to do the labor for the owners. Ellie is attached to her Poppet in ways society would approve, she always challenged her poppet, Tom, to save her when she was a child, even now as a teenager she talks openly to him and acts like he responds to her questions, only when they are alone.

Ellise her mother and her aunt live in luxury, The company that recycles death the "Desloge Corporation" was started by her great-uncle, and she's supposed to inherit the ownership of the company.

Mozes arrives from "the wild" and things start to open Ellie's eyes, we go through a rollercoaster of emotions, and people she knows are not what she thought they were. from here on horrifying scenes are happening, the truth comes out, and she's not ready for it.

The world-building is was really good and detailed.

This has the title shows, is a Magical Way to Take Care of Yourself, and the chapters bring us reflective words.

As someone who suffers from self-sabotage this chapter, in particular, helps us step by step to process and identify our negative patterns, listing causes and solutions, for the reader to help understand and overcome them.

Although the word Wiccan, might, be a word that might stop people from buying this book or simply reading it, I recommend it for the pure self-healing side and the psychological information and understanding we can gain from it.

Wicca is simply respecting nature and people with no harm.

We have a dual POP, and, it's packed with actions, from hate to urges they both don't understand, the need for protection.

The characters and world are intriguing, easy to read, and understand the politics. Aldow I would love more character description.
Is Tarion a "Tamelin" of this story?
I'd like to continue reading the series to see where it goes next.

The book's narrative is mostly filled with our FMC, thoughts, since she was put away from society for most of her living life she's adjusting to all she can absorb. The book evolved at a slow pace.
Heavily graphic and descriptive, full of violence and shocking events for a child to grow up to. Allow for a Gothic Horror I imagined it as the darkness sombre and gruesome of Frankenstein in a Tim Burton atmosphere.

I recommend this book to Gothic Horror lovers, full of twists.

The world-building and descriptions of the sceneries felt like I was traveling along with Nivali.

The book was a bit of a slow pace for me, slowing my attention to the story. The story could've been portrayed in a bit smaller length.

For the lovers of She’s my mate, You Mine, golden retriever boy, Dark Boy, shifters etc, etc… trigger warnings ⚠️ Violence descriptive torture scenes, bad language, adult scenes & parent's death. ⚠️

She’s a 10 but she has more mates than a hand can count…

Kiarra is isolated from the world, a freedom feels like a distant memory 6 years she’s been under the punishments of the King, I felt for the main character right away. It’s impossible not to after all the pain she’s going through. She’s strong and doesn’t show weakness to do anything that threatens her. The world, it’s, fairly similar to ours but they live under a King's rule with all kinds of mystic species Shifters, Witches, Demons & Dumans.

Kiarra finds herself in a peculiar situation and it’s none other than the 5 friends she grew up with. They are mad at her but above all, she is their mate.

We have 5 completely different personalities and its going to make you giggle, kick, and gasp.

There were quotes that I loved.

“…Don’t lie to me or yourself. I felt it. I felt you. That kiss was…”

Everything. It was everything and more. No words can describe the feeling of being surrounded by him. I feel safe and warm. I feel cherished and cared for and, for just a moment, slightly less broken.”

“You taste like sunshine and destruction, wrapped into one. It’s fucking delicious.”

Honestly, I’m getting the physical choppy as soon as possible I need to mark down my favorite scenes and quotes. The cover is so beautiful.

I’m not saying much more. But if you like The Bonds That Tie Series by J.Bree you will eat this up in no time. I was sad that it was over.

The Narrators of this audiobook were absolutely 💯 amazing I loved them, Scarlett Everdeen; Chase T. Walker.
